I use Google forms to collect comments on my blog posts. When you submit a comment through the form, you’re sharing it with me for potential display on the blog post it relates to. Here’s how it works:
- What I collect: Just the comment itself and an optional name (or alias) for display.
- Where it goes: If approved, your comment will appear publicly under the relevant blog post.
- What won’t be posted: Spam, abuse, or sensitive information.
- Who sees it: Only me before approval, then anyone visiting the blog if it’s published.
- How long it stays: Indefinitely, but if you ever want a comment removed, just reach out.
