About me

Quick Stats

Who I am

I'm an academic librarian at Australian Catholic University, where I lead the library team at the Blacktown campus and also play a role in research support across the organisation.

This blog is where I work through some of my ideas about libraries, tech, and culture. I'm passionate about the mechanics of information access - search, discovery, platforms, and how people value and use knowledge. I see technology as a double-edged sword and I'm interested in how it shapes human behaviour and especially how we engage with information. I enjoy problem solving, questioning conventional wisdom, and I try to do it in a humble, fair, and engaging way.

Outside of work and writing, I'm raising a young person with my husband, spending too much time on the computer, attending a church, and trying to live in a way shaped by my values of kindness, openness, and authenticity.

If you want to work together on something or just chat about libraries and tech, send me an email.
